Our Challenge of Excellence

Excellence in any endeavor requires constant vigilance, and the challenges are unending.

Slavyanka challenges are public relations, publicity, recruiting and vocal training of current and new singers, new repertoire, concert planning, choreography and scheduling, rehearsals and positioning of the chorus for public performances, recordings, and concert tours.

To address these challenges financial resources are key. Chorus activities and operations are financed entirely by donations (65%) and revenue from concerts and sale of its recordings (35%)
.
The Chorus is forever grateful to the many Friends of Slavyanka, including individuals, businesses and philanthropic organizations that have given their time and money to support the Chorus. With this support, more than thirty years of dedication and its new level of excellence, the Chorus is highly inspired to tackle the challenges as it looks forward to the future.

Corporate and Individual donations are welcomed. Slavyanka is a nonprofit 501 C3 public benefit corporation, Slavyanka Chours, Inc. Its US Federal Tax ID is 94-2886637. The Chorus is governed by a Board of Directors. Committees are appointed to address Chorus needs as they arise. All singers are volunteers. None are compensated. The Slavyanka Board of Directors and members are available to work with donors to help them understand the Chorus objectives and plan individual programs.

One hundred percent of the Board of Directors and chorus singers personally financially support the Chorus
Will you please help Slavyanka?  Your tax-deductible donation of $50, $100, $250, or more will enable us to meet the challenge of excellence and continue as a stable, fiscally sound chorus that can continue to perform this unique, exciting music to sustain the Mission of the Chorus.
